More Energy, Less Fatigue, Better Clarity
For many, being tired and run down is a way of life. In fact, about half of doctor visits involve patients complaining about constant fatigue. Not just occasionally, but all the time.
Chronic fatigue is defined as overwhelming fatigue lasting six months or longer that interferes with daily activities and is worsened by exercise. Individuals with this type of exhaustion also often suffer with such symptoms as poor quality of sleep, mental impairment, muscle and joint pain, swollen lymph glands, headaches, sore throat, and gastrointestinal problems. According to a 2016 review in the medical journal Clinical Therapeutics, the causes are unclear and “no universal pharmaceutical treatment can be recommended.”
Among the possible reasons are stress, poor diet, and lack of adequate sleep. Or there could be an underlying health problem, like anemia, depression, diabetes, low thyroid function, and cancer.
Earthing, whether you do it outside or inside, has the potential to improve these and many other symptoms because of its holistic effects on the body. For many, Grounding is like charging a failing or weak battery.
Among other things, it stabilizes the nervous system, tamping down stress and promoting calmness, reduces damaging inflammation and the pain that comes with it, and promotes better blood flow. It’s possible that Earthing and Grounding also increase the production of cellular energy. .
Research over the last 20 years clearly demonstrates that the physiology works much better when you are grounded. The findings indicate that your physiology works worse when you are not, and suggests that lack of grounding or earthing represents an overlooked cause of rampant inflammation, pain, poor sleep, and common fatigue.
